I visited the Westin in Playa Conchal, Guanacaste Costa Rica in November. I looked for a tennis pro and Matus was easy to find. He was easy to contact via phone and email. He was easy to schedule with and I got the day and time I wanted. He was easy to work with and was happy to do all the skills I wanted to work on. He also had great suggestions for fun variations on what could have otherwise been boring drills. Lastly, he has great endurance as a hitting partner. I wanted to play for three hours and of course as a tourist I couldn't handle more than two. He barely broke a sweat which was really inspiring! I would give him six stars if I could.

Amazing Coach, Great Experience! When I moved to the area I just stopped playing tennis because I was doubtful that I could find the type of instruction I was used to in the City of Chicago. Coach Matt has changed all of that! My three friends and I take weekly lessons, and we are having a blast. Thanks, Coach Matt, not only for making us better tennis players, but also for teaching us how to HAVE SO MUCH FUN during the classes as well. Super healthy fun, and I love it!

Great Tennis Experience for Kids - Matt is so great with both of my boys ages 7 & 9. He assessed them quickly in one free lesson and has easily progressed them to more challenging levels of play with appropriate peers. We’ve been playing with Matt at Conchal since we moved here in October and we’re so glad he’s a part of our week. The boys really look forward to their clinics and lessons!

Great tennis lessons - Matis is a great tennis coach. I'm playing better than I ever thought possible and he makes it fun through games he plays with us. He has helped me improve my strokes by keying in on simple reminders. He is very positive and enthusiastic but also serious enough to keep us learning. He is great for regular lessons and would also be great for a one-off lesson while on vacation.

Amazing Tennis Instructor - Matus is an amazing tennis instructor. All my family and myself train with him. Great instructor, awesome for the kids too! Matus is great to work with, really got my game back in shape.
